Lionel is for my folks Crissmus. My mom had(s) a huge a crush on Lionel and really liked my dads hair cause it was like Lionel's. The Moose Puppy and Carlton image is for my niece.
Dogz, Here are some posts. Finally getting around to colouring the Christmas portrait of my nephew. It's a WIP, but i can't work on it any more tonight.
bossy beaver. i think next i should do him in the pose i posted earlier? god, that would be great. there's a market for that, for sure. i got that from this great sight:

(makes you think LA isn't as lame as it always seems)
Gallivanting around the world trying to bring the Olympics to Chicago, privatizing our parking meters to make up for all the money he's spending, and every year my city sticker goes up. Here's to you.
So, a couple of these were drawings that i just finally got around to coloring so that i could put them in with the others. I think the one is going to be my Christmas card.
Hey All, I'll be driving to PA tomorrow which means this is my FRIDAY!!! I made this Postit for my friend Justin and will (hopefully) be posting a painting i did last night for my brother's birthday later today.
I hope that all of you and yours have a safe and gluttonous Thanksgiving break.
Okay. So it's not a drawing. But it does have to do with a hand-drawn animation project I've been threatening to finish for some time now. Pulled out the Super Sculpy and went to town last night. I'm seeing a few areas I need to smooth out before I bake it. I think I want to make more with lots of different expressions now.
This is for Reeb's brosive. He's down with Vykings and the metal so I figured this would fall comfortably into that. I'm still deciding what to do with the background. Let me know what ya tink.
Reeb and Micah inspired me to start working on some Christmas presents. The idea was to render this little guy (my nephew), cut him out, and place him on a nice hand made paper bg in an oval with his elbow and hands breaking the border. I did the value study here, but i kind of like it in black and white. I don't know if i should do color or not. Any suggestions would be great. Love you.
So, i've been listening to a lot of Slick Rick lately. It's really good. I'm posting early so's i can make sure i get it up. Hehe. You know what i said.
It's never a bad idea to have an 'i'm sorry' card laying around. I made a post it at work today and added some found textures from the garbage. Not much variety, but i thought i'd post to show something. I'm also working on some stuff at home now. Hopefully, i'll have something finished for next week.
Dorktown and Christmas work continue with this image of batman for my uncle. This is the undersketch. I'm in the middle of painting the image in a grayscale style. I'll have that posted up next week.
doing this for some future far off project where I have the delusion of making a video game. I'm almost done with a complete turn around. When I figure how to post an animated gif I'll put it up.
Been a little obsessed with these Bee Eaters ever since I checked out the latest pictorial spread about them in Nat Geo. I think this one's either getting territorial or calling out for a mate. But, who really knows what these kids are saying these days, am I right?
Continuing down dork lane, I did this street fighter photoshop paintin of M. Bison or Vega if you follow the Japanese version (*dorkmaxxout*). I originally planned on going heavy in detail, but I'm kind of happy where it is.
Figure I'll start a new piece that focuses on heavy detail. Let me know what y'allz think.
Let me know what y'alls think. I'm going to be putting in the words Rojo Muerto and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on handling the type. I'm thinking robocop style maybe. Critiques much appreciated.
