Reeb and Micah inspired me to start working on some Christmas presents. The idea was to render this little guy (my nephew), cut him out, and place him on a nice hand made paper bg in an oval with his elbow and hands breaking the border. I did the value study here, but i kind of like it in black and white. I don't know if i should do color or not. Any suggestions would be great. Love you.

I agree with you. The black and white is great. I'd be interested to see how you treat the color if only for my own selfish observation. But I think this image is really really nice as is. You're on fiyah, man!
This is looking awesome. Maybe throw it into fotoschop and play with adding a little color. I really like how you've been utilizing color lately so I think it might be worth exploring the possibilty. But as is this piece is rocking. Great expression on ole Connor.
